Stepwise is a great up and coming energy saving solution for homeowners, and I was fortunate enough to get the chance to design their logo!

I wanted it to be verstatile and iconic and simple. One of my personal design rules is that a logo needs to work in Black and White before it works in color, so I set out trying a few different directions until we settled on what we call “The bars”

The Bars represent the rising and falling energy levels read out on a display for your home, and they also create a subtle “W”. I am always looking for those clean moments of synchronicity between design and concept, and I love the way this one came together.
